We are now looking for a new Global Sales Engineer, Solutions, you will belong to our Global Sales Engineering Team which is part of the Solution Management organization.

You will also be part of a cross-functional team, The Solution Support Team , that is composed by members in different parts of Axis and in different locations around the globe.


Your work can be divided in four areas:

Use-case driven:

You will work to refine and communicate the use-case of your solutions.

Together with Product Managers and Product specialists, you will take part in the specification and interoperability of the components in different Solutions.

Interface to R&D:

You will act as an expert on customer needs, expectations and requirements internally and provide input to the product management team.

You will perform real-life test and confirm that the solution fulfills the use case, as a tollgate before launch, in close collaboration with QA.

Drive competence:

You will be cooperating closely with our Sales Engineers, supporting in sales projects with deep knowledge in the software components and use cases. In addition, you will run trainings with Sales Engineers and our support structure while learning the needs of our customer in different geographies.   

You will participate in different launch processes. As a member in a virtual launch management team you will be working closely with the local regions to provide the knowledge transfer and support.

Together with the Technical Information Management team. You will contribute in producing training material and documentation such as Technical Notes, White Papers, Videos, and FAQ:s.

Support solutions with a high focus on field implementation and maintenance: 

You will be responsible to assist local sales engineers in sales support, proof of concept and pilots.

You will be part of solution support team managing after sales support. The role involves travelling of around 40 days a year.

We are looking for a driven and structured individual with experience and talent in problem solving. We believe you have a service minded attitude and that you are practical when it comes to technical matters. It is of great value if you have technical knowledge and experience of working with IP video technology and/or Video Analytics.

You have great social skills and an ability to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment with international contacts. You are a good listener, always open to help customers and colleagues. You contribute to a good team spirit and a productive environment. Furthermore, we believe you have:

At least 5 years work experience

A pedagogic approach, both spoken and written, when explaining technical matters

A deep understanding of technical matters and preferably experience of test procedures, trouble-shooting and product evaluation.

Software experience and work practice within video are of great value and specifically analytics of any kind is an important merit.  

Excellent English skills, written and verbal
