WHO YOU ARE

To succeed in this role, you bring experience in succession and workforce planning with a strong ability to translate business direction into actionable, future-focused talent strategies. You create results by aligning talent strategies with business needs, balancing short-term supply demands with long-term succession planning goals.

You collaborate across the business to co-create sustainable solutions and build strong stakeholder relationships through strategic consulting and clear communication. Your digital literacy and expertise in performance management allow you to develop scalable processes and tools that drive performance, strengthen succession pipelines, and support long-term business growth.

Furthermore, you lead by example and act as a trusted advisor on performance, policy, and workforce-related decisions. With a strong grasp of HR issue resolution, stakeholder relations, and strategy development, you help shape an agile, resilient workforce that is ready for what's next.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will ​manage a solid performance and deployment of the Ingka processes, principles and ways of working within the subject of succession, workforce planning, performance and development​. The Succession and Workforce Planning Leader will safeguard the co-worker experience for Group Functions, Ingka Centres and Ingka Investments business entities. In this recruitment, there is no relocation support provided by IKEA.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Execute operational requirements to deliver succession and workforce planning services in assigned Group Functions, Ingka Centres and Ingka Investments business entities.
• Ensure delivery of succession and workforce planning activities to achieve operational goals and objectives, aligning wth assigned Group Functions, Ingka Centres and Ingka Investments business entities and planning with global guidelines.
• Execute work to produce, analyse succession, performance and development and workforce data to support present and future needs, collaborating with stakeholders to share insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, identifying and developing talent through the use of relevant strategies, processes and tools.

TOGETHER AS A TEAM

We are now taking our next step in preparing for the roll-out in Ingka Group Functions, Ingka Centres and Ingka Investments (GFCI) by establishing the Global Functions Centres of Expertise (CoE) and Location Operational Services (LOS) areas. These areas will support to make sure we will work together in a standardised way across P&C in Ingka, in both our functions and countries where GFCI co-workers are present.

This role will be part of the Centres of Expertise (CoE) team and will report to the CoE Manager.
