About Fulfilment & Core Services

The Fulfilment and Core Services function (F&CS) is a fundamental part of making IKEA omnichannel retailing a reality. To support IKEA in achieving its business objectives, F&CS acts as a fully integrated, process-oriented organization with an end-to-end approach to develop our business and deliver results across functions together with our partners.

We focus on providing a seamless shopping experience with great quality at all touchpoints for the many people. This is achieved by:

• Developing and securing fulfilment of an optimized omnichannel network and core services to ensure affordability, profitability, and sustainability.
• Making the IKEA offer available and convenient for customers.
• Creating an inclusive work environment founded in IKEA culture and values, where diverse people can perform, grow, and develop.

About the Role

As the Group Fulfilment & Core Services Manager, you will lead the global strategy and execution of IKEA’s omnichannel fulfilment and core services. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of IKEA’s customer experience across all markets, ensuring affordability, sustainability, and operational excellence. This is a senior leadership role with high impact across the entire value chain, driving innovation and transformation at scale.

The assignment

• Lead the global fulfilment strategy to optimize IKEA’s omnichannel network, ensuring seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints.
• Drive operational excellence and cost-efficiency across global distribution and fulfilment networks, ensuring long-term profitability and resilience.
• Oversee the global core services offer, ensuring high-quality, affordable, and sustainable services that exceed customer expectations.
• Champion sustainability across fulfilment operations, with a strong focus on last-mile delivery and circular services aligned with INGKA’s sustainability goals.
• Develop global sourcing strategies and supplier partnerships that are ethical, data-driven, and environmentally conscious.
• Foster a culture of learning and development, building high-performing, inclusive teams and future leaders across global markets.
• Collaborate across functions and countries, influencing and aligning stakeholders to deliver on strategic goals.

What You Bring

• Proven senior leadership experience in global supply chain, logistics, or fulfilment roles within large-scale, matrixed organizations.
• Deep understanding of omnichannel retailing, customer fulfilment, and service operations.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Experience in leading transformation and change across diverse cultural and market contexts.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Passion for IKEA values, sustainability, and leading through people.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in global logistics, retail, or supply chain.
• Experience in developing and implementing global strategies and managing cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
