About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Malmö, Sweden. In this role, you will be responsible for engineering, deploying, automating, managing, and maintaining AWS cloud-based staging and production systems. You will support continuous integration and delivery pipelines, ensure system availability, performance, security, and scalability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Deploy, automate, manage, and maintain AWS cloud-based staging and production systems.

· Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of production environments.

· Manage creation, release, and configuration of production systems including the THMI system.

· Assist development teams with integration issues such as security, service configuration, and network troubleshooting.

· Design, configure, and automate deployment of development and production systems.

· Devise and execute test plans to validate root causes in non-production environments.

· Perform operational engineering tasks including upgrades, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

· Support capacity management using system performance standards.

· Implement and test business continuity plans for hosting environments.

· Communicate and troubleshoot issues across multiple stakeholders.

· Identify opportunities to script operational procedures to reduce manual effort.

· Document processes and system configurations clearly and concisely.

Basic Qualifications

· 1–3 years of relevant IT experience supporting applications and hosting.

· Basic knowledge of Python, LUA, or other scripting languages.

· Background in Linux systems.

· Proven ability to write clear and concise documentation.

· Proficiency in written and spoken English.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a full-stack environment.

Preferred Qualifications

· Familiarity with AWS and other cloud platforms.

· Experience with Docker containers.

· Understanding of REST API design.

· Solid understanding of building and deploying microservices.

· Experience writing scripts in C#, PowerShell, Perl, Unix Shell, Terraform, or JavaScript (Node.js).

· Experience managing systems in IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, MOF).
