As a Category Manager for our New Business Platform (NBP), you'll be at the heart of this transformation. You'll manage your category with strategic foresight, digital innovation, an unrelenting focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and business results. This includes developing and executing strategies that drive category growth, profitability, user satisfaction, with a strong focus on digital innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and industry & market trends. You will be responsible for:
- Growing and optimising your category: Curate and design an exciting offer that meets market demands, anticipates customer needs, and delivers exceptional value and profitable growth. You’ll ensure the category’s commercial strategy aligns with the overall platform’s vision.
- Driving sales, P&L and managing the lifecycle: From shaping a dynamic pricing strategy to phasing out underperforming offers, you’ll be responsible for the profit and loss and guardian of the category's success, using data-driven insights to propel profitable growth.
- Leading partnerships: Build strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners, ensuring that every contract exceeds performance, quality, and pricing expectations. You’ll negotiate terms that benefit all parties, while driving innovation and collaborative initiatives.
- Attracting customers: Develop compelling marketing strategies to engage and excite customers. You’ll create a seamless experience that connects the category, platform, and IKEA ecosystem, driving adoption and loyalty.
- Staying ahead of the curve: Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to continuously evolve and stay competitive.
