About the role

We are now looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Field Service Technician to carry out technical campaigns and service actions on Solaris electric buses. You will primarily work at customer sites, performing follow-up work on already delivered vehicles, such as adjustments, minor installations, sealing work, and simple software updates.

Typical tasks may include:

- Service and maintenance of heavy vehicles

- Performing delivery inspections and documenting deviations

- Working with electrical systems, safety campaigns, and service actions

You will work independently and plan your tasks in coordination with the team and internal coordinators. The role involves approximately 1–2 travel weeks per month, including overnight stays within Sweden, primarily in the southern and central parts of the country. A service vehicle is included in the role.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic, preferably with a background in heavy vehicles, trucks, or machinery. You enjoy practical, methodical work and have a keen eye for detail. The most important aspect is delivering high-quality work, as many campaigns are safety-related. You must be able to understand instructions in English, both spoken and written, therefore knowledge of Swedish is not a requirement for this position.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

- A mechanical background

- The ability to read basic technical drawings and instructions

- Good knowledge of English

- A category B driving license

- Experience working independently and taking responsibility

It is a plus if you have prior experience with campaigns, delivery inspections, or aftermarket work.

Additional information

Start: As soon as possible

Location: Malmö, with travel within Sweden

Scope: Full-time

Working hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00

Salary: According to agreement
