As part of the Digital Engineering team in the Data & Technology department, your new job will contribute to develop and deploy digital products, strengthening the common ways of working. You will work closely with teams across the Inter IKEA group and with our partners. You are passionate about the digital transformation and see process and solution development as a key to make life easier for the many people and make a clear footprint in line with the IKEA direction.

On a typical day, you will:

• Transform data into an analyzable format (ETL/ELT) to deliver business benefits.
• Develop and maintain infrastructures for data sourcing, processing, and sharing.
• Optimize, test, and implement tools to enhance data quality and monitor drift and decay.
• Manage data integration, processing, and modeling.
• Provide APIs for standardized data sharing and access.
• Translate business data needs into technical solutions and architectures.
• Ensure compliance with security, legal, and delivery standards.
• Support and coach teams in data-driven development.
• Document and share knowledge on data infrastructure within IKEA.
• Apply best practices in CI/CD and maintain cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

What we’d like you to bring to the table

• Expertise in Python, PySpark, and SQL: essential for developing efficient data pipelines and handling large-scale data processing.
• You have solid knowledge of industry-standard software development languages and a deep understanding of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
• You are a proactive team player who takes ownership, builds cross-functional relationships with senior peers, and enjoys mentoring junior colleagues.
• You are a curious, world-class problem solver passionate about continuous learning and innovation.
